Inspire Sports Law Initiative

The Littleton Inspire Sports Law initiative is designed to support athletes transitioning away from high performance sport into a career in the law. It is particularly aimed at those from less represented socio-economic backgrounds to assist them in their legal careers. It includes opportunities for:

  1. Work experience at Littleton Chambers to include attending hearings and considering cases of interest dealt with by the Sports Law group
  2. Mentoring in terms of university studies, Law or Bar School topic choices, scholarship applications, interview preparation.
  3. Networking at Sports Law group events
  4. Ongoing education by way of case updates and comments via the Littleton Sports Law group mailing list.

Recent examples of participants in the scheme have been Christine Ohuruogu (athletics), Miles Benjamin (rugby union) and Zafar Ansari (cricket).
