Littleton Sports Law Group cited in EU-funded report for FIFA

The Interim Report on “Promoting and Supporting Good Governance in the European Football Agents Industry”, which is co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union, cites in support of its Assessment and Recommendations an article written by John Mehrzad and Grahame Anderson, the Head and Deputy Head of the Sports Law Group at Littleton respectively.

The purpose of the Interim Report is to present initial findings regarding the operation of the FIFA Regulations for Working With Intermediaries (2015), particularly regarding the implementation of the regulations at national association level across the territory of the EU.

Following consultation with stakeholders, a Final Report is to be published at the end of 2019.

The Interim and Final Reports seek to inform discussions currently taking place within the FIFA Transfer Task Force, which is undertaking to reform the current intermediary regulations.
