Jonathan Cohen QC successful in establishing that Law of champerty still applies with full force to solicitors and court refuses to let law firm take place of deceased client
In Farrar & Anor V Miller, the High Court has held that London law firm, Candey Limited, were not entitled to take an assignment of a cause of action from their deceased client.
