The Head of the Sports Law Group, John Mehrzad, has been re-appointed for the third year in a row onto the Steering Committee for the Integrity and Impact Award, sponsored by Dow Jones Sports Intelligence, due to be awarded at the annual Sports Industry Group Awards on 30 April 2020.
Together with his fellow panel members from across the globe, John will narrow down nominations to create a core short-list of exceptional candidates. Those candidates may be an individual, group or organisation, whose actions have created a positive impact resulting in tangible progression or the protection of the integrity of the entity, sport or issue involved. The award is rewarded for a specific action or series of actions, rather than an accumulation of work.
The winner of the 2019 Integrity and Impact Award was Raheem Sterling, who received his award from England manager, Gareth Southgate, at the 2019 Sports Industry Group Awards.
