Gavin Mansfield QC is acting for global insurance broker Willis in its claim against competitor JLT alleging an unlawful team move. Willis has seen over 30 departures from its Fine Art and Jewellery Division. The High Court initially refused to grant a without notice “non-poaching” springboard injunction to prevent JLT recruiting further employees. On 22 April the Court of Appeal allowed an appeal against that decision and granted the injunction through to a further on notice hearing.
