Alexander Halban is acting for Getir, which runs the high-speed grocery delivery app valued at $7.5bn, in a claim against its UK advertising agency, Enjoy Media, for breach of a contract to display Getir adverts on more than 700 London taxis. Getir employees took 2,000 photos of London taxis. It found 181 taxis covered by the contract with Enjoy Media which were not displaying Getir adverts, and some were advertising Getir’s competitors. Getir’s survey suggests that as many as three-quarters of the taxis in the contract may not be complying. The claim has recently been issued and Alexander drafted Particulars of Claim, which are quoted in the article.
