Another successful Litttleton Annual Commercial Seminar

Last night Littleton held its Annual Commercial Law Seminar at Inner Temple which turned out to be a lively, informative and fun evening.

The Commercial Seminar this year was a debate in which Members of Littleton opposed each other, addressing the motion that:“Fiduciary duties have gone far enough in commercial cases”.David Reade Q.C., Stuart Ritchie Q.C.
and David Lascelles represented the “Orthodox” team and  Andrew Stafford Q.C, Charles Samek Q.C. and Adam Solomon comprised the “Expansionists”. The debate ensured that attendees were brought fully up to date with all recent commercial cases on fiduciary duties. Fortunately Lord Justice Lewison was there to chair the debate and to avoid things getting too heated!

With a great turnout of guests, the debate turned out to be a lively one with an interactive question and answer session to conclude, followed by a drinks reception in the Luncheon Room.
